What started on a cool Sunday in May of 1972, The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 15 has held it's annual pancake breakfast every year, with this year making it the 47th... and counting. It started out as a way for family and friends who have one thing in common, airplanes, to hang out and share stories. Over the years, the event grew. Folks from all over the Chicagoland area come by car and by air to enjoy our breakfast, walk the flight line, and talk airplanes. When good weather prevailed in the past,  it was common to have over thirty aircraft fly in including a heavy contingency of RV's.

This has grown to be a popular fly-in event, with planes coming in from the tri-state area. So during good flying weather expect a lot of traffic in the pattern. We usually had a couple dozen cars on show out in the front of the terminal entrance, but this year it's all changed.

By popular demand, 2018's pancake breakfast has been expanded to a full day event. Once the cakes stop flipping around 11:00am, the hot dogs, hamburgers and pulled pork hit the grill until 3:30pm. All while you're enjoying the sights and sounds of ex-military planes and antique/classic cars, all part of the Wings over Wheels experience.

The menu is simple:
Breakfast dish: Scrambled eggs,  pancakes, and sausage w/Orange Juice or Coffee
Lunch offerings: Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, or Pulled Pork w/chips and a drink.
Cost is just $8.00 for adults and $4 for kids.
Other types of refreshments will be available for purchase throughout the day.

Other sample concessions: Cotton Candy, Sno-Cones, Popcorn and Ice Cream.
